Day 4

Attention Arcadia students and parents! Do you want something fun to do tonight? Do you like getting a deal on dinner? Do you want to support our students going to Washington D.C. and New York City this May Term? Well I have the event for you!

Tonight at 6pm, we are having a fundraiser at Bashers Bar & Grill/Faribowl in Faribault (1802 4th Street NW, Faribault, MN)! Join us for a family fun night that features $4 bowling, a dinner basket special, a silent auction featuring donated items from a number of local businesses, and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds of this fundraiser will be split evenly among students going on the DC/NYC trip this May Term. If you have any questions about this event, please email Matt. Come support our travelers and have some fun!

Attention all students! Climate change is a dire issue that many young people feel passionately about. You can be part of the solution by advocating to your state legislators in person! Wednesday 2/26 is the Youth Climate Justice Summit in St. Paul, and we are going! If you are interested in joining this field trip, please email or talk to Matt. There are only a few extra spots available, so if you're interested, please let him know ASAP (ps, lunch is provided!). You can learn more about the field trip and register for it by going to this link

All who are going on the field trip to the Ordway this Friday- that's the high school Dance, Directing and Acting classes- need to turn in their field trip forms ASAP. Not only that- in the next weeks you'll have a chance to work with members of the band and Rachel Ries, the leader of the group, to create a presentation that will be performed Friday, March 13 at 7:00 pm. There are a number of different ways for you to be involved, as singers, dancers, actors and instrumentalists. You'll find out a lot more about all this on Thursday. Arcadia has a long tradition of hosting arts residencies with everyone from Dessa to the Guthrie to last years show with Peter Miller and We Are the Willows. Our upcoming residency with Rachel Ries and Her Crooked Heart promises to be another good one. https://www.hercrookedheart.com/
