Morgan McCarty
Middle School Advisor and Special Education Teacher
Morgan has a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Kindergarten and PreKindergarten Education from Mankato State. She taught 6th grade for several years before switching to preschool. Morgan moved to Northfield with her partner and daughter in 2008 and became a stay-at-home mom. During this time she became a foster parent. Morgan and her partner adopted five of their foster kids. Morgan's life was dedicated to the six kids and their special needs. The kids now range in age from 11 to 25. While home with the kids Morgan's interest in Special Education increased. When the youngest kids started kindergarten, Morgan returned to the schools, this time working as a Special Education Teacher. She is currently attending school again in pursuit of her Special Education license.
