Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) allows an eligible high school student to take a college or university courses while they are in high school. Arcadia has recently adopted a PSEO policy with specific guidelines regarding eligibility for our students moving into 11th and 12th grade. 10th and 11th graders should begin the application process during the third quarter for their next academic year. Our students should start with a conversation with their advisor or Lisa Malecha regarding eligibility.

Additional information can be found on the Minnesota Department of Education website for career and college readiness.

Each college and university has their own application process, in addition to the school’s application.

Each student must fill out PSEO Registration Form which must be filled out by the Student, a high school representative and the college/university.

Students must also fill out a request for transcript form from the Arcadia Charter School website.

More information for PSEO can be found in the  PSEO Reference Guide with Legislation Changes 2016.
