Thomas Rotchadl

Thomas is a first-year teacher in Special Education for the high school program.  He is a firm believer in individualized education and is excited to be a part of a school community that celebrates the uniqueness of each and every student.

After graduating high school in Owatonna, MN, in 2005, Thomas lived in Minneapolis for several years, working odd jobs and “discovering himself”.  He married his wife, Rebekah, in 2011.  In 2012, he and Rebekah headed to Hokkaido, Japan for one year to work as English teachers.

Upon returning to the United States, Thomas returned to school at St. Cloud State University to study teaching and education.  After completing student teaching in the St. Cloud public schools, Thomas graduated with a degree in Special Education in 2016.  This past summer, he taught at a reading and math summer program in Sauk Rapids, MN.
Outside of school, Thomas’s interests include the outdoors, sports and fitness, literature, and gaming.  He and Rebekah welcomed their first child, Esme, to the world in July of 2016.  They also share a home with a 6-year-old yellow lab mix, Sophie.
